JZ Utility Barns Story

JZ Barns was born out of Jonathan’s strong desire to stay at home and provide work for his growing family of boys. In 2001 the family moved from central PA to southwest VA. His dream became reality and he started his home based business of building Storage Sheds for sale and His family, though still too young to work with him loved having him at home.

In the fall of 2003 he was not feeling well and by Dec. was diagnosed with the dreaded cancer disease. Chemo treatments were harsh and made him very sick. After his 3rd week of chemo he had a massive stroke which totally took his speech. After 17days in the hospital and months of therapy, his recovery was a long and slow process. With the help of his family, the Garden Shed business continued.

 In the spring of 2013 his cancer returned with vengeance. He had a strong will to live and fought very courageously and was seldom discouraged. However after 2 years of sickness God called him Home to suffer no more.

His wife and 5 sons are pleased to continue the work he started and want to provide our GARDEN SHED customers with the best quality building and satisfaction every time!
